The SSS Girls

Sexy Sixty Six. I think that is what it means. Since high school in 1966 we have all gone separate ways, 3 of us moved out of state, me to florida, 1 to Oregon, and 1 to North Carolina, and 1 moved out of Harrisburg to Philadelphia and 2 remained in Harrisburg.

Two are happily married, and 4 are divorced, with 2 of those very happy contented bachelorettes, and maybe the other 2 divorced will come around to being bachelorettes one day.

SO we all met one weekend in August. Friday night we went to 1's house and had a fabulous dinner. We met Saturday at noon (1 had to go play golf in the morning) for lunch at the restaurant near the hotel. After lunch the golfer was done with her round of golf and met us. We all piled into 1's van, 6 of us all together, and drove to our old high school. We gathered for group pictures. We drove all over Harrisburg, past our old homes, and also to Oberlin to see our Junior High School. We have all known each other since 7th grade, but there are some who knew each other from 1st grade. WAY COOL....

We all went in the van to the hotel and checked into to 2 adjoining suites. What fun!! Six females in 2 big rooms!! We went for a swim in the hotel pool. We got gussied up for dinner and went to a really nice place and they put us in our own room. They must have seen 6 women and said UH OH!! Good move on their part.

Reunion Committee is Meeting!!

I just received the minutes from the last committee meeting and they are on the move. I am so happy they are putting a reunion together. It is our 43rd year reunion. Why 43rd, you ask? Because we missed 40th and we don't want to wait until 45th!

So far the plans look GREAT!!! Yahooooooooo!!

Yes, this will be our 43rd Reunion, because we did not want to wait until our 45th Reunion. We have waited far too long.
